Microblading or feathering implements the use of fine, hair-like strokes in conjunction with pigments that dye the skin. This procedure is very intricate and takes a skilled professional to do it well. The process itself takes anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on the amount of hair that needs to be filled in. A lot of time is taken at our studio to outline the new shape, get client approval and numb the area before beginning the actual procedure. Many people believe that this procedure is similar to eyebrow tattooing; that is not the case. We use small, handheld that gently scrape the skin at the dermis level, leaving the appearance of natural hair. Results are semi-permanent and can last anywhere from 12-15 months, sometimes longer, depending on the skin type and frequency of touch-ups.
